I started with a free trial just to check it out and it worked great! I got my own fax number which could send emails to up to 5 addresses. Same with the sending, super easy, just send emails to @myfax.com and it goes out. Also, really liked the first page preview in the emails so I could see what the fax was before opening the attachment. It's great, no hardware or software to mess with or maintain.
This service worked great for us for many months. Then, when our credit card expired, they cut off service with no warning. I changed the credit card data when I discovered this, but since then it has never worked properly - we can receive faxes just fine, but cannot send faxes. It will work for a day or two and then stop. Calls to customer service have resulted in no call-backs, just "send us a fax and copy it to this email address", over and over. Lookimng for a relaiable service at this point.
I'm very pleased with MyFax. It has a lot of specialty features such as faxing directly from Office applications such as MS Word - a real time saver. The price is great and they offer a free 30 day trial. They also get great reviews from the internet fax reviews at computerfaxing.org. I'd give it a solid 2 thumbs up for overall satisfaction.
